As Australia's fastest growing city, Brisbane has gone from "sleepy country-town" to "thriving boom-town" in one decade. Its a refreshing combination of hectic and totally chilled-out and its been a real adventure pioneering a church plant here.  

We've had an exciting lead up this year.  Towards the end of last year God invaded one of our connect groups (I think just to remind us that church is not supposed to be predictable).  From there our sense of God's presence has steadily increased.  People have been having power encounters with God, and there is a new expectation of an even greater manifestation of his glory amongst us.  

God has called us to a radical year in 2010 where encountering Him is first on the agenda, where we grow in our establishment of a gospel-driven community and where the city of Brisbane is impacted with the gospel in action.  We have abandoned our "shotgun" approach to evangelism, and we're adopting a "sniper" approach with words of knowledge and signs and wonders.  After a year of laying solid foundations, we have felt God commissioning us to get out into the fabric of this city expect Him to do things we've only ever dreamed of.  Our expectation is huge, but our God is huge!

Our vision is to see Brisbane's traditional "sleepy country-church" transformed into to "thriving boom-church"...
