Home Groups
And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (Acts 2:46-47)
Proverbs 27:17 says: As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
At Grace Community we believe home groups are the best way to sharpen one another, by studying God’s Word together. But even more than growing in our knowledge home groups are also the greatest way to build a close-knit community with meaningful relationships.

Isaiah 37:30-38
- In verses 30–31, God says the sign of His salvation would be the miraculous provision of food. Why do you think this was God’s sign and not the destruction of the 185,000 Assyrians? Where in your own life have you seen God’s care show up in ordinary provision rather than extraordinary miracles?
God doesn’t promise abundance and luxury, but rather to provide for their needs. How should this be an encouragement and also a challenge to Christians who live in wealthy Perth?
The response to God giving life is to take root and bear fruit. What does it mean for God’s people to take root? How can a believer grow deeper roots? What does it mean for God’s people to bear fruit? In what areas would you like to see more fruit in your life? Why is it encouraging that the zeal of the Lord is behind His people taking root and bearing fruit?
God promises to save Judah for His own sake and for the sake of His covenant promises to David. Why is it imperative that God uphold the worth and glory of His name? How does knowing that God upholds the worth of His name and that as believers we are called by His name give us deeper assurance of our salvation, especially when we feel weak, failing, or unworthy?
