Grace Community Youth

At Grace Community Youth (Grades 7-12) our focus is on showing the youth the Love and Truth of God through His word, while providing a fun place for them to hang out with their friends.

On Friday night’s during the school term, we meet at the Connolly Community Centre from 7-9pm. Our average night at GCY includes a warm welcome, a Bible talk (based off of the previous week’s church sermon), some fun (and often silly!) games and lots of hanging out with friends (popular activities include board/card games, dodge ball and “volleyball” using the playground swing set as a ‘net’). Every couple of weeks, we have a themed night, organised by some of our junior youth leaders.

On the second Friday of each month, the community centre is unavailable, so we have a ‘social night’ – these alternate between meeting at a youth member’s home and an outing to a fun activity (chosen by the youth) such as bowling, mini-golf, laser tag, etc.
