GRACE COMMUNITY WOMEN
Older women likewise are to be reverent in behaviour, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. (Titus 2:3-5)
Grace Community Women is a ministry run by women for women for the purpose of building community and growing in faith.

Paul gives Titus instruction that older women are to train younger women in how they ought to live in both the public and private aspects of their life. In order to facilitate this, we have a women’s home group (click here for more info) and two Titus 2 Book Groups. The book groups explore a book together which help edify them in their Christian walk. This year’s book we have chosen to study is In His Image, by Jen Wilkin. The book groups will meet monthly, one on the fourth Monday of the month (starting on Feb 24), 7-8.30pm in Craigie and the second (for women 35 and under) on the fourth Thursday of the month (starting Feb 27th) 7-8:30pm in Jindalee. Please fill in the contact form below if you are interested in attending.
We are still a fairly new church so we are really keen on building community. We have just started organising womens-only social outings (pictured, our first ever bowling event, followed by afternoon tea) where we enjoyed getting to know each other better, lots of laughs (lots of gutter-balls!) and tonnes of fun. We hope to organise more activities like this every couple of months. If you’d like to be involved, reach out by filling in the form below.
