GRACE COMMUNITY KIDS
Jesus said, "let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 19:14)
Grace Community Kids caters for children aged 2 years old through to Grade 6. On Sunday mornings during the school term and during the sermon, kids aged two through to Grade 2 can attend Grace Kids where they are taught a simple Bible lesson with activities. For children in Grades 3-6, we have an activity sheet available each week for completion during the sermon which always includes questions related to the sermon and other activities such as a word search and colouring in – the kids are encouraged to bring their completed worksheet to a nominated adult after the service for a small prize. We love having kids in our congregation and will always endeavour to cater for all ages so they too can learn about the Love and Truth of God from His Word.
Grace Community Kids is run by an amazing bunch of volunteers who love the kids, but we give them a break over the school holidays. Grace Kids (aged two to Grade 2) is in recess during the holidays but they have access to an activity sheet during the sermon. The Grace Kids room is available to parents for their little ones on an ‘as needs’ basis and is equipped with books and toys, and a speaker so parents can listen to the sermon.
